ABOUT KELLY
As a former journalist of over 30 years, Kelly has a long history of listening and giving people a voice. She's won 4 Emmys for her work in the news room and documentaries on education, health care, and human trafficking.

Most recently, Kelly was the News Director for WFRV in Green Bay and currently teaches at NWTC in Northeastern Wisconsin
While producing America's Heartland, Kelly traveled the country celebrating Agriculture in America. While there was much to celebrate, she also saw firsthand the many struggles family farmers face behind the scenes and sought to give farmers a voice, a voice that is underrepresented in Washington and Madison.
Kelly first became active in politics in 2022 with the fall of Roe. Frustrated that women's voices were not being heard, Kelly began attending fundraisers and became active with the local Democratic Party.

In 2023, she joined Women Win Wisconsin with Dr. Kristin Lyerly and Alicia Saunders where they hosted round table discussions on issues impacting women in Wisconsin and across the nation. The goal of Women Win Wisconsin was for women to work together, not against each other, to address the issues that affect us all, and fill the seats necessary to ensure they are addressed in Washington and Madison.
Kelly is a proud military wife. She lives in De Pere with her husband, Chris, a 20 year Air Force veteran and native Wisconsinite.

She is also a loving stepmom to her stepson, Ryan, and dog-mom to her two Labrador Retrievers, Aspen and Polar. Together they have opened their home to foster children and international students from The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Italy, and Japan.
When not working, Kelly is usually found gardening in her greenhouse, swimming, or playing with Aspen and Polar.
